Die Lindy USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerung verwendet aktive Elektronik, um die Kabellänge eines USB 2.0 Devices um 5m zu verlängern. Dabei werden weiterhin Datentransferraten bis 480Mbit/s unterstützt. Die USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerung mit USB-Stecker Typ A und USB-Buchse Typ A erlaubt den Anschluss und die flexible Positionierung von USB-Geräten Typ A in größerer Entfernung von PCs, Laptops und Tablets. Dabei können bis zu 5 Aktiv-Verlängerungen bis zu einer Distanz von 25m hintereinander geschaltet werden.

Das schlanke Design des Gehäuses ermöglicht die Installation auch in räumlich beengten Verhältnissen. Die Lindy USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerung ist kompatibel mit Computern mit USB-Anschluss Typ A.
