Der 4-kanalige Impulsumsetzer IPX 4 dient zur Anpassung von Zählimpulsen an die SPS-Zykluszeit. Je nach Einsatz lassen sich das Teilerverhältnis oder die Impulsverlängerung an der Geräterückseite über Drehschalter (siehe Tabelle rechts) einstellen. Die Eingänge können über Kontakt, Transistor, Spannung und Namur angesteuert werden (Übernahme: mit der steigenden Flanke). Einstellung Eingang Namur: über Schalter intern (siehe auch AN_C310). Eingänge, Ausgänge und Versorgung sind zueinander galvanisch getrennt. Status-LEDs für Eingänge, Ausgänge und Versorgung.
