SENECA Z-PASS2-S

Z-PASS2-S is an IEC 61131 Advanced Control Unit that natively supports the SENECA LET'S (Remote control and remote assistance platform for Industry 4.0). This powerful CPU provides maximum reliability and security for data management and monitoring by combining PLC (IDE Straton) functionality with routing and remote access capabilities, supporting Point-To-Point connections for remote assistance or Single LAN connections for remote control (for more information www.seneca.it/lets).The latest hardware rev (09/2017) further improves CPU performance by integrating 6 I/O channels (1DI for remote connection security interlock, 1DO for the on-going VPN connection signalling and 4 other configurable digital channels), a GPS receiver and a pentaband 3G+(*) modem with Worldwide coverage.Z-PASS2-S is equipped with 2 Ethernet ports configurable in SWITCH or LAN/WAN operating mode, 3 serial ports and 1 USB port. This CPU supports ModBUS TCP server, ModBUS RTU master/slave, FTP/SFTP server, HTTP/HTPPS server protocols, OpenVPN encryption and optional protocols for Energy Management applications such as IEC 60870-101, IEC 60870-104 and IEC 61850. The device integrates an ARM9 32-bit, 1Gb Flash, 64MB RAM CPU and a memory expansion slot with microSD. Configuration is done via Z-NET4 environment and web server.
